Vintage Aventurine Graduating Bead Necklace with Matching Post Earrings

This is a lovely, natural aventurine bead necklace in shades of variegated light green. The length is 22 inches with silver round beads interspaced between the semi-precious gemstone beads. The aventurine beads are graduated in size from 8 mm to 10 mm to 12 mm to a 15 mm middle bead. Their transparency allows the darker green and lighter opaque occlusions to shine through nicely. The silver clasp at the neck locks securely. The weight is 61 Gms.

The aventurine stones in the matching post earrings are slightly beveled at the sides with rounded top surfaces. They are bezel set into an oblong shaped setting with a rope design around the edges. Overall, they measure 3/4 inch by 5/8 inch. Their weight is 9 Gms.

There is no brand name stamped on any piece nor is there a metal content mark. For that reason, I am guessing the metal components are silver-plated - cleaning confirms they are silver.

The condition of all three items in the set are excellent and show little to no wear except for some light tarnish to the silver beads. There are no cracked or chipped beads, no stains or bent earring posts.
